Took my lowest temp ride ever today, 27 degrees when I set out at 7.20 am. My feet were cold the whole feckin’ way. I gotta fix that quick. I cut the ride short ‘cos I was uncomfortable, now I won’t be able to eat as much.

Had breakfast at home, rode over to the Lakeside where I’m sure it was a couple degrees colder, then down to Sturgeon Bay for second-breakfast at Macdonaldos, back north up the bay side of the peninsula, then stopped for late lunch at The Bayside in Fish Creek.

One of the bartenders at the Bayside whom I haven’t seen in a few months, asked me if I’m on a diet. Hell no, I’m not on a diet. Fuck that noise. Today, so far, I’ve had:

  • A double helping of Bob’s Steel Cut oats with honey, brown sugar and craisins (yummy)f6t2
  • A banana
  • Some energy chews
  • Two egg McMuffins
  • One bowl of clam chowder
  • A large corned beef sandwich on Texas toast
  • A big basket of fries
  • A pint of Kombucha
  • Various beverages of the non alcoholic persuasion

I picked up some cream cheese danish on the way home for my afternoon tea at 4pm, and a large Toblerone for later. I have a big bowl of leftover pasta and meatballs waiting for me for dinner, and I’ll do a side salad and a slab of garlic bread. And I ALWAYS have two bowls of cereal for late supper, with my little choc fix before that….

What’s that add up to then, I figure it must be about 2500 carollies and half a gram of costellerol.

So hell no I’m not on a diet.

Susan’s out of town so I might go out dancing later to burn some off.
